The junction of the bottom raft with the vertical wall is to be opened and filled with metal aggregate of nominal size along with injection (coupling). In the wall area all construction joints are opened to provide Injections grouting. Injection grouting shall be provided as and where found necessary . The injections are grouted with cement slurry and chemical compound.

After the injection grouting . We shall provide a layer of METAL COBA  of about 2" thick on the floor .the vertical wall and floor  is then covered with  "Leak proof " water proof plaster layer of about 1" thick.

FLOOR:

Cleaning the surface area to provide good key waterproofing. Injection grouting point fixing wherever necessary then a layer of aggregate jelly fixing in CM 1:4 and 'LEAK PROOF' waterproofing compound and jelly(20mm aggregate). After METAL COBA  a layer of rough cudappa slab is fixed with cut joint in CM 1:4 mixed with waterproofing compound , then the joints of cuddapa slab are grouted in cement slurry with chemical mixing. then top finishing is done smooth in CM 1:4 with leak proof waterproofing compound.

RETAINING WALL:

Providing waterproofing treatment for the retaining wall with a layer of rough cudappa slab fixing in cement paste , the gap between cudappa slab and RCC wall is Grouted with cement slurry and chemical compound. Then two coats of waterproofing plaster is done with one coat rough and second coat done smooth in CM 1:4 with chemical mixing.

FLOOR & RETAINING WALL:

Cleaning and preparing the surface area for carrying out membrane waterproofing treatment , then injection grouting the week areas on the concrete surface with cement slurry & waterpoofing grout. Then Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 4mm/3mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non- woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 ltr/sqm. by the same membrane manufacturer of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ltr and viscosity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/ 5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 300/ 250N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -2°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147.
